Carla Wicks

Carla Wicks has been a Christian for over half her life and has a passion for God’s Word coupled with a concentration on prayer. Being open and vulnerable, with the good and bad experiences of life, has been her life focus. Her biblical education has spanned forty-six years including many correspondence courses, bible studies (including one’s she has written and lead), attending conventions, speaking at retreats/conferences and Pastoral Stephen Ministry classes. She has devoted herself to expand knowledge and mature in the faith. She is an advocate for life-long learning.

She is also a Veteran of the USAF, retired Dental Hygienist and Gold Star Mother.

She and has been freelance writing and blogging for several years. Her most recent works include a novel, “Summer at Eagle Crest Drive,” and co-authoring “The Potluck Club-the play.”

Having grown up in Kansas, she moved twenty-three years ago and now calls Ft. Worth, Texas home. She is married to husband Ken and homeschooling daughter Nicole who is a junior in high school. She is mother of nine and grandmother of twelve. You can reach her at: 40whispers@gmail.com
